Bury to lead women's sport pilot
The town of Bury has received £1.8m funding to run an intensive one-year pilot
to get more girls and women active and to tackle the gender gap in sport. Funded by National Lottery

ECB invests £96m in community cricket
The English and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) have announced they have signed a
Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) £96m in community cricket over the next four
years. The agreement with the ECB's Recreational Assembly was signed on 8 May during a day of meetings

Games Travel Office provider appointed for Glasgow 2014
Glasgow 2014 has appointed ATP Event Experts as the Games Travel Office (GTO)
provider for next year's Commonwealth Games.
ATP will link up with travel and accommodation markets, assist in the promotion
of Glasgow and Scotland and sell a range of spectator packages with combined
deals for tickets, accommodation and travel.
